Privacy Policy

Effective June 2, 2026 · Last updated June 2, 2026

RaveReply helps local service businesses reply to their Google reviews in their own voice. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — in plain language, the way we'd want it explained to us.

This policy applies to RaveReply ("RaveReply," "we," "us," or "our") and the RaveReply website and application (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us

Information from your connected Google Business Profile

When you connect your Google Business Profile, you authorize us to access your business listing and its reviews so we can draft replies and post the ones you approve. This includes reviewer display names, ratings, review text, dates, and the replies posted to your listing. We access this through a third-party integration provider acting on our behalf, and only for the listing you connect.

Information created in the Service

Billing information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. We receive your subscription status, plan, and limited billing details (such as the last four digits and card brand) needed to manage your account.

Information collected automatically

Like most web apps, we record basic log and device data — IP address, browser type, pages and actions in the app, and timestamps — to keep the Service secure and working.

How we use your information

How we use AI

You approve every reply. To draft a reply, we send the review text and your voice samples and settings to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a suggestion. Drafts are shown to you for approval — nothing is posted to your listing without you, except where you have explicitly turned on automatic sending for 5-star reviews. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your content to train third-party AI models for their own purposes.

How we share information

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run RaveReply, and only as needed:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (you'll be notified of any such change).

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we need to keep it to meet legal, tax, or security obligations.

Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of storage or transmission is ever 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and to limit who can access it.

Your choices and rights

California residents

If you live in California, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request a copy or deletion, to correct it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or "share" your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, email support@ravereply.com and we'll verify and respond as required by law.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the Service secure. We don't use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Children

RaveReply is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Where your data is processed

RaveReply is operated in the United States, and your information is processed there. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be processed in the U.S.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we'll give you reasonable notice.
